Honestly I suggest you buy both if you have the cash. Ya CoH isn't quarter as resource hungry as SupCom, especially since I still use single-core, but for you DC users it should be pretty ok.
If you're really interested here's a guide : The economics of this game is nice and quite complex, and by building some matrices (of power gens and mass fabricators) you can achieve a bonus that is worth it. The danger is taking out one can start a chain reaction that'll take them all out. By building Power extractors around a factory or near mass fabricators you get an economic bonus. Some more information (especially for playing without dlc): Redarrow's Guide to Standard Build Orders. Also - and I just played the SC demo only briefly - isn't there some sort of efficiency bonus that can be achieved by building the power extractors (?) right next to and associating them with specific factories?Īh yes the adjacency bonus. This guide isn't complete, but these are some basic built orders and following those should improve your playing a lot.Įdit: You can start right away with a factory because you have a huge starting mass (on small maps like most 1v1 and 2v2 maps). As Air you can start with two air factories (and one research) or with two research stations and one air factory (big maps). As Land you can start with three land factories or 2 land factories and one research station or with one land factory and two research stations or just three research stations.Don't forget to built many energy in the mid and late game when the mass points get more effective.
